No Country for Old Men (2007)

A fan edit of the Coen brothers’ No Country for Old Men (2007), cut by @endofilms and posted to TikTok in August 2023. Adapted from Cormac McCarthy’s novel, it sets Javier Bardem’s hitman Anton Chigurh after Josh Brolin’s hunter and a case of drug money he wasn’t meant to find. The relentless psychopathic killer is set to a slightly slowed-down “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak, making use of the dusty guitar twang of the chorus to fit with the neo-western feel of the film.
